Sevens rugby is a fast-paced, dynamic, festival or tournament style of tackle rugby played in the summer. There are seven players on the field per team, and the game is played for 2x 7-minute halves.
Sevens can be a game for everyone, and is less daunting to learn because there is less contact and lots of space.
Sevens uses a lot of transferable skills from other sports around attacking space. So join a team in the summer months and your coach and teammates will teach you the basics of catch, pass, and tackle.
Sevens is played in tournaments or festival style events, with multiple games per day, in the summer sun with music pumping. Join a school or club depending on what your Union offers and come give it a go.

Low–medium
The beauty of Sevens is the low-medium commitment, short season, and the summer social vibe it has. Choose your team based on your skill level and the commitment you want. You can train 1-2 times per week and enter as many tournaments that suit you.
