All registered players, coaches, managers, administrators, medical professionals, referees and rugby clubs in New Zealand are automatically covered under the New Zealand Rugby Accidental Injury Benefit Policy.
The New Zealand Rugby Accidental Injury Benefit Policy provides a Benefit for the following if they result from an Injury while engaged in a Rugby Event (as defined in the Policy):
