Our role in rugby

2020 Farah Palmer Cup Winners

At the heart of New Zealand, rugby is more than just a sport – it's a powerful force for positive change. Through this cherished game, we foster physical wellbeing, mental resilience, and social connections that strengthen our communities.

From the Saturday morning sidelines to packed stadiums, we're creating welcoming spaces where everyone belongs. Our commitment goes beyond the field, embracing the complete hauora (wellbeing) of our rugby whānau – mind, body, spirit, and community.

By weaving together physical achievement, mental strength, emotional support, and social inclusion, we're building a rugby culture that enriches lives across Aotearoa. Join us in making rugby truly a game for all, where every New Zealander can find their place to belong, grow, and thrive.

Our Initiatives
